Oh that’s a great idea! Maybe I should do something like that next year… a few bulbs a month?

This year I crocheted small table Christmas trees for our home and a few friends. It was so much fun

I am so tired this year that I’m not decorating at all!! So so tired that I can’t even get the tree out of the cupboard and unpack a colour of baubles. It’s been such a huge year!!! I have bought a very cheap pop up Christmas tree with lights already on it….

Last year I knitted a Christmas tree skirt, which I quite love. This year I'm breaking my rule of not making presents... Hoping to still have time to make a few more decorations

I knitted the old fashioned fairy lights garland to hang on our mantlepiece. Also I've made some button Christmas trees to give as a little extra to my friends. xxx

There’s a free pattern on Ravelry called Mitten ornaments by red heart design team. Thinking of whipping up a few to put on presents for those who are knit worthy. They’re small and great for stash busting. And the recipients get a small ornament to hang on their tree.

Knitting a gift that doubles as an ornament sounds like a great idea!

Seeing these brings back warm memories of your previous blogs. I have a few handmade tree ornaments from various people, but nothing of own

However, I have started collecting trees made by a potter friend in various sizes and glares. I'm hoping to get a few more to make a mini "forest" on a table top and knit a Gnome family to live there over the next few years.

Oh, this is so lovely. I'm way too late for this year but I'm very intrigued to knit the little Christmas baubles.

you don't mention your toft-advent-projects from the past years nor other toft christmas-related things you made. lucky for you you can stall them elsewhere. I make only small things, little gnomes, snowmen and stars, because I don't want to collect a lot of 'stuff'. But it is clear that you really enjoy all your decorations! goodluck with your new toft-advent-adventure!

Awww thank you - if I'm honest I'd actually forgotten to count those past advents as festive projects! Maybe I need to do another post for them!

My crafting project does not involve knitting - I am making teddy bears out of thrifted plaid flannel and other scrap fabric from my stash. They have embroidered faces and are very simply something that kids experiencing trauma can cuddle. Of course I'll keep photos of them but the actual Trauma Teddies are going to a shelter for domestic violence victims.

Last year and this year, I knit the Arne & Carlos free Christmas stocking KAL. They are now hanging on the fireplace and my assortment of A& C balls are in a basket on the coffee table.
