I've loved watching your blogs again this year. I am always in awe of how you manage your time and prioritise the things you enjoy, when you can, of course. Looking forward to seeing what 2025 brings in your crafty world. Happy New Year to you and Mark xxx

I learned brioche knitting this summer and knitted the Shusui Shrug. My plans for the coming year include finishing off the Over It Slipover, knitting a 2ply shawl that my friend has asked me to do for her first grandchild (due in the spring) and then hopefully a Love Note Sweater for myself. I am also planning to sew a coat/jacket for myself.

Wishing you and Mark all the best for the coming year.

my knitting-highlight was an intarsia-sweater. it was a big commitment as there were many colours and many changes of colours. I spun the yarn myself from natural shades of shetland and then natural dyed them to obtain 9 colours. for me it was a big achievement. I am retired so I have the time and brainspace for such big projects. thank you, Martyn, for bringing some joy during my spinning/knitting time.

What a year of making for you—— it’s always so fun to reflect on all we’ve accomplished over the year. I’m starting off this year by doing the Berroco Mystery Blanket, knitting one or two blocks a month and by December we’ll have a finished blanket. We start on January 2nd, and I can’t wait. What else this year will bring, I’m not sure—-but I do want to get back to my spinning wheel. To all our maker friends—— Happy Making in the New Year !!!!
